A guestbook, not a tracker. Everyone here pressed a button to be here, and can be no more precisely placed than an eleven-kilometre square.
Each circle is one ~11 km cell, sized by how many people signed from it. Circles sit at the centre of their cell — never at anybody's address.
Two ways, both entirely up to you. Where am I? asks your browser, which will ask you first. Drop a pin never touches your location at all — you just click the map. Either way the position is rounded to about eleven kilometres in your browser, before anything is sent.
“Where am I?” sends and keeps your exact position, visible only to the site's owner; the public map and the list below show a rounded ~11 km area instead. “Drop a pin” sends no location at all. Also kept: whatever name you type and the two-letter country of your connection. Not kept: your IP address, your browser, or any cookie or identifier. The full list is on the about page →
